The Antonym Of Makeup

Eraseup? What is it exactly? Eraseup is the antonym of Makeup. Put simply.

Disclosure, I updated this picture. Similar look. Same products and with 10 minutes to spare prior to Easter brunch. With a 2 year old, full time school and an Aesthetic business, Im seeking even more optimized, time saving, skin and planet loving products!

It all began December 2017, as I prepared for my trip to Reno. Hoping to drastically scale down my beauty routine, I was seeking green, clean & cruelty free multi use products. This meant: B.B. Creams, Moisture laden makeup that double as a treatment and a lip color which performed as eye & cheek tint.

I decided on RMS Beauty. Heavy on the coconut oil to remedy the dry Reno air, RMS offered a lovely quad. A palette that fits in the palm of your hand. The Signature set. Buriti Bronzer to contour nose, cheek bones, hairline and chin.

Following the soft chiseled glow I applied “Demure” with “Beloved” to the apples of my cheeks, lips and eyes. I applied them to both top and bottom lids. Boom! What. A. Look.

Last and, when I say last I say it saving the best for last. A swipe of magic luminizer over the highest peak of my cheeks, the bridge of my nose and a dab at the tail of my brows.

Look complete. My skin was glossy and lustrous. My face looked naturally contoured, and the “Eraseup” as I call it; looked gentle in natural and unnatural lighting.

Now! I will say, 4 products and done; was quite the accomplishment.

A 5th product is optional if you don’t regularly tint your lashes and brows. I would recommend Jane Iredale Mascara in “Black Ice” A light mascara that with a gentle hand can also be applied to the brows to double down as a brow gel. If you prefer to keep your erase up look light as a feather, make sure you book monthly Brow & Lash tints with your Aesthetician. At WAX I utilize a non toxic vegetable colorant. Gentle enough to repeat monthly keeping your color vibrant.

If you have been seeking a lighter “Eraseup” routine, taking a Minimalist Makeup approach, going Lean Green, Cruelty Free or Just curious in general try out this regimen and please tell me your thoughts.
